Today I am thankful for my clients--
These are the people that have been willing to help me during school clinics and now while I am building my private practice. These are the people that have shown me trust and faith in my skills that it humbles me every time. You are the reason why I love what I am doing and you all have made it all worth wild up to this point... and will continue to do so I am sure.. Thank you for your support and being the building blocks to my current journey. I definitely couldn't and can't do this without you all.
So to all my awesome clients who trust me with helping them to grow and find what resonates with them... please know I see you and that I truly cherish the fact that I have been able to walk with you ...
Keep up the awesome job and THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!
Okay, thanks to one of my fellow colleagues (Soulstice Nutrition) for pointing out that the first week of August is National Simplify Your Life Week.
However simplifying your life can happen anytime really. It can incorporate various aspects of your life from physical to psychological etc. And at the same time we have to also remember that simplification doesn't have to be complex or overwhelming or even stressful especially when you narrow the list to what needs to be addressed now and what can wait.
Really, there are things in our lives that can wait even through everything feels like it needs our attention right now. Believe me, I know that concept is foreign because I am infamous for this ideal that everything needs to be done right now to the point that I even try to do it all. Does this sound familiar, yeah I am a work in progress too and I am still learning the true meaning of simplification which isn't the norm is it? Especially when the end result for simplifying is to lessen stress and anxiety.
Furthermore, by simplifying one's life you can bring mental well-being and gain a healthier you mentally, emotionally, and spiritually which can have a domino affect by letting you get better sleep and/or better digestion etc. So what are you waiting for?? You know you and you know what needs to be simplified so my challenge to you is to choose that one area of your life to simplify this week....
Do you need some assistance on figuring out that one area?? Here are some ideas to help get you started...
Woohoo.. Now that you have your area or that one place that needs to be refocused or uncluttered or just simplified-- The next step is to keep it simple and focus your full intention on it by asking yourself-
The kicker is it took a lifetime to get you to where you are today... so this change to simplify your life won't happen in just one day...
Would love to hear from you...
Today, I am thankful for my fellow colleagues... especially in the Integrative Health and Wellness Community. This community truly wants to not only support each other but they also want to help those within their local communities along with around the world. There are some really some amazing people out there.
Furthermore, this is the community I was always told to look for when life was in chaos or in need of change-- the helpers and the healers which this community truly wants to be...
So today I am thankful for my community of fellow helpers and healers.... These people definitely make the path more bearable and smoother than what it really is...
Do you have a community of helpers and healers to be thankful for??

I am thankful for the opportunity to grow fruit and veggies in my yard..
Love how it's helping to put healthy foods on the table along with life lessons for my daughter and a great family bonding time for my family unit...
It also provides a way to relieve stress and provide a sense of accomplishment...
Love getting my hands dirty and seeing everything grow..
What are you thankful for today?? Do you have a garden??
Gardens can be small or large or even in pots...
I am thankful for my husband and that he's still on this earth with me and our daughter..
Almost 9 years ago he collapsed with strep/pneumonia...he had been battling an unknown issue since March of that year (2011)..no one figured it was a rare strain of strep that turned into pneumonia... They bought him back twice that very scary day which resulted in a coma for 5 days and a long upward battle to where we are today .. It was made even harder for me with a newborn and moving to a new city... And yes...our love..our faith were definitely tested..
Now I try not to take anything for granted and sometimes I do.. I am human after all... Plus I try to count my blessings every day...
I am so thankful that my husband and our daughter are both here to share this wonderful life with me..
