Today I am thankful for weekends...
As a mom, a wife, and an entrepreneur, I feel the weekends are hectic and busy with everybody at home especially now and catching up with things that weren't completed during the week.
But, there are still many reasons for me to be thankful for the weekends-
On weekdays, I wake up at 5.30 am to get to my remote work area since I am working from home for my full-time day job. I usually start around 6 or 630 am depending on how fast the coffee kicks in. I get off from that job to work a part-time job so far 2 days a week while also working on my private practice in between. With such a crazy work week without home schooling yet etc ... The weekends give me a break from the normal schedule. I am thankful for weekends for the break I get from my weekday schedule.
Weekends also mean sleeping in late along with fun activities with the family and lots of rest and relaxation together with no other necessary functions. We can watch movies, play board games, talk or just sit together reading books. I am thankful for family time on weekends.
However, as an entrepreneur, there can be no difference between weekday and weekend. But, there are ways to have fun and also handle the necessary aspects of work effectively on weekends. I make sure to schedule my work in such a way that I don’t have to miss family time.
Weekends allow us to prepare for the week ahead. I am thankful for these two days off which help me to recharge and unwind.
What are you thankful for?
