If your family has a hard time getting enough fruits and veggies, stock up on bananas and frozen fruit, then allow everyone to create their own smoothie as a snack. Serve alongside nuts, popcorn, or another healthy crunchy snack!
Here’s my go-to smoothie recipe:
- 1 banana, fresh
- 1 cup of frozen berries of choice
- 1 handful of fresh spinach (trust me, you can’t taste it!)
- 1 heavy dash of cinnamon
- 1 cup of water or milk of choice (add more or less to get to desired consistency)
