I am still here-- juggling the many hats that I have going on. Still working on my Wellness Coach training-- need 20 more hours from volunteers wishing to be coached then 75 hours from paying clients along with 7 hours group mentored and 3 hours one on one mentored which the latter 3 hours are on me to figure out on my own along with all the other coaching hours.. so lots going on to complete my wellness coach accreditation. In May 2015 I start my training for herbalism which is exciting but making me nervous with so much on the plate-- also wondering if there's accreditation for that too?? I will learn more as I go. I did say I am a life long learner :-)
Also started my Doula (birthing only) training... received the Position Paper (2012) along with 5 large books to start reading and retaining before I take the 3 day training class (April or May 2015), write a 500-1000 word paper, provided 45+ references, take breastfeeding training/certification and a preparation class for new parents at my local hospital then at some point obtain three clients that are willing to be my accreditation clients for the Birthing Doula certificaitons.. . :-)
None of this includes other aspects of my life and other interests such as Feng Shui, Reiki, spirituality and yoga... So I understand when someone says life is busy or even to busy. However with all this learning etc., is worth in the end. It's hard to remember the light at the end of the tunnel when you have a little one pulling on your shirt, screaming because they want your attention or the dishes are piling up or this errand or that needs to be done.
Does any of it really matter at the end of the day or at the end?? No, not really.. so I am breathing and listening to my 3 year old laugh as I write this singing how much she's loved.. it's this moment that matters-- the future has been defined yet other than by our dreams and goals because it can all change in a matter of a moment.. so I am still here.. plugging away at life but learning to live in the moment ...
